Where’s Your Faith?

By Kateb Nuri-Alim Shunnar

Let me ask you something where’s your faith when life gets messy? When everything crashes down, do you hold on, or do you bolt? Do you throw up your hands and walk away from the Creator, chasing your own way out through pride, frustration, bitterness, or distractions? Why do you backpedal when the Creator has already mapped out your victory?

I get it. I’ve been there. Sitting in the wreckage of my own choices, staring at the sky, wondering if the Creator even remembered my name. I know what it feels like to beg for an answer and hear nothing but silence. But here’s what I’ve learned that silence isn’t absence. It’s a test. A pause before the breakthrough. And in that pause, one question lingers: Do you still trust Me?

But what do we do when the fire gets too hot? We run. We fold. We convince ourselves that the pain is proof the Creator has left us when, in reality, it's the very thing shaping us. And yet, we turn back. We let fear make our choices. We grab onto anger like it’s a lifeline. We shut down because giving up feels easier than pushing through.

But easy ain’t always right. And comfort doesn’t mean growth.

The Creator never promised this road would be smooth. He never said you wouldn’t take a few hits along the way. But He did promise that those wounds wouldn’t be wasted. That when He’s done with you, your comeback will be so unreal, folks will think you made it up. You’ll be standing so tall, so renewed, that your past will seem like someone else’s nightmare.

But none of that can happen if you keep running. If you keep making choices based on temporary pain instead of eternal purpose. How many times have you let a bad season convince you to throw away a lifetime of blessings? How many moments of doubt have robbed you of what was already yours?

You’re standing on the edge of something greater, but you’re too busy looking back. You’re crying about how heavy your burdens are, but have you ever stopped to wonder why you’re still trying to carry them alone?

The Creator’s hand has been on you even in your worst moments. Even when you stumbled, even when you broke, even when you did exactly what you swore you’d never do His mercy never ran out. His patience never wore thin. His love never backed away.

So, tell me where’s your faith?

Faith isn’t just for the good days. It’s not just for when the sun’s shining and everything’s falling into place. Faith is for the storm. Faith is for the nights when you can’t see a way forward. Faith is believing that even when you’re at rock bottom, the Creator is still at work.

You might feel like you’re drowning now, but you won’t stay under. You might be crawling now, but you won’t always be this low. The same Creator who got you this far isn’t about to leave you stranded.

So stop running. Stop doubting. Stop letting your struggles be louder than your trust.

The Creator hasn’t given up on you don’t give up on Him.
