Not of This World

Not of This World

By Kateb Nuri-Alim Shunnar

I am not bound by this world. Though my feet tread its paths and my lungs draw its air, the essence of who I am lies far beyond its grasp. The systems humanity has constructed, driven by greed, fear, and pride, cannot define or contain me. I am more than the sum of these earthly measures. My Creator, in infinite wisdom, shaped me as an energy in tune with love, empathy, and the timeless rhythm of friendship. In the divine blueprint, I was crafted to embody and reflect goodness, and so I strive to be the truest version of myself. I am love in its purest form love that uplifts, heals, and restores. I am empathy, an open bridge for hearts to connect, and I am friendship, unselfish and enduring, as vast as the cosmos from which I hail.

I find no value in material possessions or social status. These fleeting distractions only tether the spirit to a realm it was never meant to linger in. My worth is not measured by wealth, the company I keep, or fleeting conquests of the heart. I have outgrown such trivial pursuits. Life’s playful illusions have faded, replaced by an understanding that I am here to grow, evolve, and prepare for what lies beyond. I know that one day, I will shed this physical form and stand before my Maker. This knowledge renders shallow pursuits meaningless. Living solely for oneself indulging in empty gratifications while neglecting the soul’s deep needs does not define a life well-lived. My focus now is on mending the fractures within me, ensuring that when my time comes, I will be ready to move into the next chapter of existence.

I urge you to reflect on this sacred opportunity we’ve been given. Let us take the time to heal the brokenness within our spirits, to restore our homes, and to nurture the connections with those we love. Above all, let us rekindle our relationship with the Creator the source of all that is meaningful and eternal. Too often, we allow pride, fear, or ego to push away the good people the Creator has placed in our lives. These encounters are no accident; they are divine gifts meant to guide us, teach us, and remind us of our true essence. Yet, we squander them, allowing negative forces to drive them away.

The pain of betrayal, loss, and hurt has taught many of us to close off our hearts. The world conditions us to retreat into selfishness and erect walls of bitterness to guard against further wounds. But I refuse to live in that shadow. The Creator has tuned my energy to resonate with positivity, and through that divine alignment, I know my purpose: to be love and light in a world often shrouded in darkness. To embrace this calling, I must confront my pain, unravel my bitterness, and heal the parts of myself that have hardened.

Life is not about amassing victories that the world praises; it’s about preparing the soul to meet its Creator. Every action, every word, every intention carries a weight that transcends this life. The hour will come when we must account for what we have done and left undone. How we treat others, the words we choose, the love we give or withhold these are the echoes that ripple into eternity. This understanding compels me to move with intention and mindfulness, to choose kindness over cruelty and forgiveness over pride.

I am not blind to the world’s flaws, nor am I immune to its struggles. I have felt rejection’s sting and judgment’s weight. At times, the temptation to shrink, to dim my light, has been overwhelming. But in those moments, I look to the stars the ancient sentinels of the sky and I remember my origin. They remind me that my existence is a reflection of something vast and divine, a purpose that cannot be dimmed by human opinion.

I walk this world as a traveler, not as one of its citizens. My allegiance lies with the Creator, not with the broken systems that seek to control and define. The Creator’s laws of love, justice, and unity are the ones I strive to live by. When I meditate, I feel the boundaries of this world dissolve, and I remember that I am not a body or a title, but light and energy, a vessel of divine purpose. I am here to learn, to grow, and to infuse this space with the Creator’s wisdom.

The pull of materialism and ego is relentless, but I have learned that these things are hollow. They can neither define me nor fulfill me. I have seen people chase after wealth, status, and power, only to find themselves spiritually malnourished, tethered to a cycle of endless craving. My spirit, however, remains untethered. My true wealth lies in the love I share, the kindness I extend, and the relationships I nurture.

The Creator has blessed each of us with life, not as a means to pursue fleeting pleasures but as an opportunity to become the most divine version of ourselves. To squander this gift on shallow pursuits is to miss the very essence of our existence. I do not live for today’s fleeting rewards; I live with eternity in mind. This awareness keeps me focused on what truly matters: healing my spirit, nurturing my connections, and fulfilling the purpose for which I was created.

Let us not waste the precious time we’ve been given. Let us honor the Creator by living with intention and love, by repairing what is broken and embracing the people placed in our paths. Every relationship, every encounter, is an opportunity to reflect the Creator’s light. And as we rise into the fullness of who we were meant to be, let us remember that our words, actions, and intentions are the seeds of an eternal harvest.

The systems of this world will try to claim you, to shrink you, to convince you that you are less than what you were created to be. But you are not of this world. You are infinite, boundless, and divine. Stand firm in this truth, and let your light shine unapologetically. The Creator has placed a unique purpose within you one that only you can fulfill. Honor that purpose. Rise above the noise and distractions of this fleeting existence. Embrace the divine essence within you, and let it guide you home.
