The Creator is the defender behind me,

He guards my heart, my soul, my mind.

No weapon forged can touch this flame,

No fear can rise when I call His name.

My cup runs over, joy flows free,

He pours His oil and comforts me.

He’s the whisper in my deepest night,

My gentle song, my guiding light.

The Lord is my Shepherd, near and true,

He walks before me in all I do.

Through hills and valleys, wind or rain,

He soothes my soul and calms my pain.

Hallelujah, I’m not alone,

He holds my hand, He brings me home.

He's my comfort, soft and near,

In every step, He draws me clear.

When burdens rise and spirits bend,

He sends His peace that will not end.

I see His glory, face to face,

In every shadow, I find His grace.

He speaks to storms, they cease their cry,

He lifts my head and dries my eye.

Even in silence, I hear Him say,

“I’m here, My child, I’ve made the way.”

Your Spirit lives inside of me,

And where You are, I long to be.

You breathe in me a holy calm,

You heal my wounds with sacred balm.

Who can break me, who can try,

When the Creator walks close by?

I am steady, I’m held so tight,

Wrapped in love and clothed in light.

Hallelujah, I’m not alone,

I’m never lost, I’m always known.

He’s my comfort, steady and true,

I walk in peace because of You.

You are my Shepherd I shall not want.

Your presence is my heart’s true font.

I do not fear the path ahead,

Your love has raised what once was dead.

I lift my eyes up to the hills,

Beyond the noise, beyond the stills.

From whence comes help when I can’t stand?

From You, Creator, with mighty hand.

You will not let my foot be moved,

Your watchful eye, forever proved.

You never sleep, You never stray,

You guard me through the night and day.

You are the shade upon my side,

In You alone, I run and hide.

The sun won’t scorch, the moon won’t sting,

Under Your wings, I sing, I sing...

All my help comes from above,

From Your strong hand, Your endless love.

I’ll never fall, I’ll never roam,

With You, Creator, I am home.

So I whisper thanks in quiet air,

I feel You move, I know You’re there.

Through every breath, through every test,

You hold me close and give me rest.

Let the heavens ring, let the earth agree,

There’s no one else who walks with me

Like You do, Lord, with gentle grace,

I feel Your touch, I see Your face.

Hallelujah, I’m not alone,

Even when I sigh or moan.

You’re my comfort, sweet and near,

I walk with love, I walk with cheer.
