Faithful Through It All

Faithful Through It All

By Kateb Nuri-Alim Shunnar

Life has a way of weaving stories beneath the surface, stories that most people will never see. My life? It’s one of those stories. To the outside world, I might look like I’ve had it all together, but trust me if you only knew. You can’t imagine the battles I’ve faced, the tears I’ve shed, or the nights I’ve begged the Creator for just enough strength to keep going.

Through it all, though, the Creator has never let me down. Not once. His promise to stick by me to never leave or abandon me has been the one thing I could count on when everything else fell apart. When the storms hit, and I thought I’d drown, His hand was always there, steadying me, keeping me afloat. Even when I felt unworthy, consumed by shame, He reminded me, “You belong to me, and I have big plans for you.”

My journey isn’t one of perfection. It’s one of transformation. I used to carry so much guilt chains of regret, shame, and self-doubt that weighed me down. Every misstep I’d ever taken felt like an anchor pulling me deeper into despair. But the Creator broke every chain. He didn’t just free me; He flipped the script, turning all that pain into something powerful. My past isn’t a burden anymore it’s my badge of honor.

And let me be real you don’t know my story. You don’t know the kind of storms I’ve weathered or the fire I’ve walked through. There were moments when I couldn’t see anything but darkness. Times when my spirit felt crushed under the weight of my struggles. But even in those moments, the Creator was there. His presence was quiet but undeniable, like a soft light cutting through a pitch-black night.

The guilt I used to carry? It was relentless. It whispered every failure in my ear, reminding me of all the ways I’d fallen short. But then, the Creator spoke louder, drowning out the guilt with words of grace: “You’re forgiven. You’re loved. You’re mine.” Those words shattered every lie I’d believed about myself.

Now, I stand here free not just free, but grateful. Grateful that I’ve come out on the other side of trials that were meant to destroy me. The storms shaped me, refined me, and taught me to trust the Creator in ways I never thought possible. They showed me that no matter how fierce the fight, no weapon formed against me would ever succeed.

I’ve faced weapons, trust me. They’ve taken the form of broken friendships, financial struggles, betrayals, and situations I wouldn’t wish on anyone. Each time, the Creator stepped in. His promises became my armor, and His Word became the weapon I used to push back against everything that tried to take me down.

Today, people see the healed version of me. They see someone walking with peace and confidence, but they don’t see the scars that got me here. They don’t know the prayers I whispered at 3 a.m. when giving up felt like the easier option. They don’t hear the sobs or the desperate pleas for deliverance.

Let me tell you something: my life is living proof that the Creator can work with anyone, no matter how shattered they feel. He doesn’t need you to be perfect He just needs you to show up. He took the chaos of my life and created something beautiful.

So, if you’re reading this and you feel stuck, broken, or lost, let me remind you of something: the Creator is faithful. His love doesn’t quit, His promises don’t fail, and He’s got you, even when it feels like the world has turned its back on you.

You might not know my story, but if you look close enough, you’ll see the fingerprints of the divine all over it. Every battle, every tear, every scar it all points back to His faithfulness. No weapon that came against me succeeded because He was fighting for me the whole time.

This isn’t just my story, though. It’s a story of grace, of redemption, of triumph. It’s a story that proves the Creator’s love isn’t just some idea we talk about it’s real, and it changes everything.

And for that, I will never stop being grateful.
