✨ Beauty Beyond the Ashes

The Creator’s Eye Upon Me

By Kateb  Shunnar

When voices rose to bring me shame,

The Creator still declared my name.

Though many thought I’d lose the fight,

He clothed my soul in holy light.

They said my story reached its end,

No hope to rise, no will to mend.

But mercy whispered, “Child, arise,”

And placed His vision in my eyes.

Though people marked me with the worst,

The Creator quenched my deepest thirst.

He saw a seed beneath the clay,

A hidden bloom that found its way.

He’s mine, I’m His - this bond is true,

Not chained by what I used to do.

The past may shout, the world may blame,

But He redeems and calls my name.

They said I’d stumble, said I’d fall,

That I would never stand at all.

Yet in His hands I found my place,

He crowned my weakness with His grace.

Like buried roots unseen by men,

He made my spirit live again.

The flame they doubted, dim, concealed,

Became a fire His love revealed.

When all around saw only wrong,

The Creator gave my soul a song.

From dust to beauty, chains undone,

He saw the best His work begun.

The world cried out, “You’ll fade, you’ll fail,”

But still His mercy did prevail.

He turned my sorrow into peace,

And made my storms of striving cease.

So now I stand, my heart set free,

A living proof of victory.

The truth resounds for all to see:

He saw the best inside of me.

And if they doubt, or still deny,

His love lifts higher than the sky.

I’ll sing His grace eternally,

The best He saw is now in me.
