Amazing Grace
By Kateb Nuri-Alim Shunnar
In valleys where the shadows creep,
A gentle voice stirs me from sleep.
This amazing grace has led me through,
The tempests were wild, the doubts I knew.
When the night stretched long, and hope seemed thin,
I held tight to faith deep within.
Each weary step I dared to make,
Lit by dawn’s first glow, for love’s own sake.
If not for grace, so deeply true,
Grief would have swallowed and undone too.
But in the stillness, in the whispered plea,
I found the courage to set fear free.
With every trial, with every storm,
I learned that grace can heal and transform.
Within the struggle, I found my light,
A love unyielding, pure and bright.
Now I stand, with heart laid bare,
Grateful for the grace that’s everywhere.
With faith to anchor, I’ll rise, explore,
For amazing grace will guide me evermore.
