A Reflection on My Academic Journey
This milestone may seem small to some, but to me, it’s monumental. Tackling this challenge wasn’t a walk in the park. Let’s be real absorbing new concepts doesn’t come as naturally as it used to, especially when life keeps piling on responsibilities. Between a full-time job that demands my all, personal obligations at home, and the creative effort of working on my books, it sometimes felt like I was juggling flaming swords.
There were days when I wanted to throw in the towel. I’d sit at my desk, staring at my assignments, feeling drained and wondering if I had it in me to keep going. Life has a way of testing your limits, doesn’t it? But in those moments, I found myself leaning on my Creator. Somehow, I was given the strength to push forward when I thought I had nothing left to give.
So, here I am, proud to say that I’ve earned a Career and Technical Certificate in Cloud Computing from Delgado Community College. This wasn’t just about coursework; it was about resilience. It’s a stepping stone toward a bigger goal, and I’m grateful for the journey so far.
I know I still have more classes to take and hurdles to jump before I reach my degree, but for now, I’m pausing to appreciate this moment. It hasn’t been easy, but it’s been worth it. And while I didn’t have a big celebration or a crowd of friends cheering me on, the quiet joy I feel is enough.
To those who supported me, whether through whispered prayers or words of encouragement, thank you. Your kindness kept me going. And to my Creator, who’s been my guide through every twist and turn thank You for carrying me through.
This is just the beginning, but it’s a beginning I’ll never forget.
